Una danza di notte in un luogo urbano.
Un luogo all'aperto, vicino alle strade e alle luci della città, 6 danzatori, un allestimento minimale. Una danza pazzesca di corpi che si toccano senza ritegno, anche mentre le bocche dei danzatori sputano improvvisazioni verbali e una specie di beatboxing senza beat. Riflessioni sull'arte politica dei cartoni animati, sull'umorismo e il pericolo, sul tempo del disegno paragonato a quello della danza, consegnato ad alta velocità.
Danse de nuit ha luogo in un parcheggio o in un cortile semichiuso, in un ammasso di cemento abbandonato, in una rovina urbana. Pioggia o sole, noi danziamo. Una sorta di danza estrema per un pubblico anticonformista.

 

A night-time dance in urban space.
A place in the open air, close to city streets and lights, 6 dancers, minimal set-up. A mind-blowing dance of bodies touching without restraint, even while the mouths of the dancers spout verbal improvisations and a kind of beatboxing without beat. Reflections on the political art of the cartoon, on humor and danger, on the time of drawing compared to the time of dancing, delivered at high speed.
Danse de nuit takes place in a parking lot or a semi-enclosed courtyard, an abandoned slab of concrete, an urban ruin. Rain or shine, we dance. A sort of extreme dance for an offbeat public.
