Laboratorio per attori condotto da Chiara Lagani (F&A) in collaborazione con Gina Monaco (Kinkaleri)
ll laboratorio indaga alcuni semplici dispositivi drammaturgici di eterodirezione e le loro possibili applicazioni al lavoro dell’attore. Si intende per eterodirezione un processo di scrittura live in cui il corpo di un attore è una strana penna vigile che comunica a chi scrive le sue intenzioni attraverso sottili indicazioni di senso e sentimento. È la ricerca di un ritmo tra due persone, una sulla scena e una fuori scena, nascosta, che concorrono alla composizione di un “testo” (fisico e verbale) il cui senso e le cui possibilità saranno ad ogni istante rinfrescate e riprecisate dal rapporto innescato tra le due parti. Si andranno a sperimentare nella pratica diverse disposizioni di attività e passività, con particolare attenzione alla sottile linea di confine-commistione tra queste due zone di differente e complementare senso.
Fanny & Alexander ha affrontato nei suoi ultimi lavori il tema dell’eterodirezione in relazione all’idea di attraversamento dell’attore da parte di un’intera opera coi suoi suoni e le sue voci e rumori, fantasmi viventi incarnati in un corpo-medium (Him); poi in un dispositivo che indagava i meccanismi della persuasione occulta - oltre a quello della resistenza-obbedienza dell’attore a una ferrea gabbia di ingiunzioni (West); infine in T.E. Lawrence in particolare in riferimento alla tanto nodale idea di corvè, così presente nell’opera di quest’autore. La ricerca prosegue nel progetto sui Discorsi pubblici, appena iniziato.
Ospite attivo di questo laboratorio sarà Kinkaleri, che nei suoi lavori ha più volte toccato una "zona" molto particolare del lavoro dell'attore in una maniera che potrà illuminare nuovi aspetti, alimentare e arricchire di questioni il lavoro sull'eterodirezione che Fanny & Alexander propone in questo percorso di tre giorni.

The workshop inquires into some simple dramaturgical devices of other-directedness and their possible applications to the work of actors. Other-directedness shall be understood as a process of live writing where an actor's body is a strange attentive pen communicating its intents to the writer by means of subtle instructions of sense and feeling. It is the search of a rhythm between two persons, one on stage and the other off stage, hidden, who concur in the composition of a ‘text’ (physical and verbal) whose sense and possibilities will be freshened and respecified in every moment by the relation between the two parties. Several dispositions of activity and passivity will be tested in practice, with particular attention to the thin border-mixture line between these two areas of different and complementary sense.
In their latest works Fanny & Alexander have deepened the theme of other-directedness in relation with the idea of a whole artwork passing through the actor with its sounds and voices and noises, living ghosts incarnated in a body-medium (Him); then, in a device which inquired into the mechanism of hidden persuasion - besides the one of the actor's resistance-obedience to an iron cage of injunctions (West); lastly in T.E. Lawrence project, in particular with reference to the crucial concept of fatigue, which is so present in this author's work. This research is being carried out in the project of Public Speeches, which has just started.
The active guests of this workshop will be Kinkaleri, who have often touched in their works a very special ‘area’ of the actor's work in a way that will enlighten new aspects, nourish and enhance the work on other-directedness which Fanny & Alexander propose in this three-day path.
